Chocolatito Fights Saturday in Madison Square Garden – This Saturday night, March 18th HBO Boxing presents a double header on pay-per-view that features two world title fights in the main event spots.

WBC world super flyweight champion Roman “Chocolaitio” Gonzalez is set to defend his belt against Thailand’s tough Wisaksil Wangek. Gonzalez is currently rated the #1 pound for pound boxer in the world and the line posted for this fight shows that he is not expected to lose against Wangek. Gonzalez is coming off a tough fight against the highly skilled Carlos Cuadras in his last outing and a rematch could be in the works, so Wangek is a “down” fight as would be expected.

You may think Gonzalez is the number one guy P4P since Floyd mayweather Jr retired and you may think he is not. It doesn’t matter in that this Saturday is a chance to watch one of the top guys work and that is exciting to the hardcore. Wangek can be expected to go down fighting, and the undercard also features Carlos Cuadras, the Mexican who gave Gonzalez his toughest fight to date. The WBC belt belonged to Cuadras before Gonzalez took it but a win by both men will likely see HBO and the powers that be move them towards a rematch.
