Terence Crawford Defends Titles Saturday at MSG – This Saturday night in New York City undefeated WBC and WBO world 140 pound (super lightweight) champion Terence Crawford (30-0) takes to the Madison Square Garden ring to defend his title against rugged Felix Diaz (19-1) of the Dominican Republic.

In Crawford you get a chance to see one of the best boxers on the planet right now. Crawford has shown versatility few others have as he can fight inside and out, he has good power and excellent technique and he adds to that package exceptional ring IQ and a mean streak. What more could you want? Last year he faced his toughest test to date in undefeated WBO champion Viktor Postol and, well, you see who has the WBO world title and undefeated record still.

Diaz is a former 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist and he is 19-1 as a pro. His lone loss was to cagey Lamont Peterson and many people feel he won that fight. Diaz is going to bring hunger to this fight as he is now in his 30’s and he would like to close out his career in the bigger paydays. He sees Crawford as his gateway to those paydays.
