UFC 211 Under Card Odds For Saturday’s Return – The non-PPV portion of UFC 211 is set to air several fights on FX with the rest of the card on the UFC’s Fight Pass. Below are the odds for the under card.

The FX broadcast is headlined by a lightweight bout between two men who have had their careers altered by fighting Conor McGregor. Eddie Alvarez is back and when we last saw him, he was being knocked out by Conor McGregor for the UFC Lightweight title. Alvarez had the worst night of his long career in that fight and unfortunately for him it came on the UFC’s biggest stage.

When people look back at the career of Conor McGregor it may be his lopsided KO of Dustin Poirier that many will signal as the fight that put McGregor on the map. Poirier has been a solid performer since that loss, which came back in September of 2014, but his lone loss since came via KO to Michael Johnson and a questionable chin is not what you want to be known for heading into a fight with a motivated Alvarez. The key for Poirier may be to strike first as Alvarez, for all his explosiveness is now on the plus side of 30 and he did look to be a step slow against McGregor.
