Tom Cruise, Michael Owen hated by Liam Gallagher

Liam Gallagher hates Tom Cruise - because he is so short.  The wild Oasis frontman says he can't stand the diminutive actor - who apparently stands at 5ft 7ins - and also has a dislike for short England soccer star Michael Owen.

During the band's new tour documentary 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down', Liam tells his bandmates, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and brother Noel: "I hate Tom Cruise.  I can't stand that small b*****d - him and Michael Owen."

Despite his dislike for Cruise, Liam - who stands at around 5ft 8ins -admits he is a fan of some of his early films.  He added: "'Cocktail' though, that's a great film."

Cruise tied the knot with fiancée Katie Holmes on Saturday (18.11.06) in front of more than 150 star-studded guests at the Odescalchi Castle, in Lake Bracciano, Italy.

Guests included Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony, Jada Pinkett Smith and her actor spouse Will, Jim Carrey and his girlfriend Jenny McCarthy, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham and Brooke Shields.
