Teri Hatcher refused to work unless she had her favorite shoes

Teri Hatcher reportedly infuriated the crew and stylists on the set of 'Desperate Housewives' by refusing to film her scenes until she could wear her favourite shoes.

The actress allegedly threw a tantrum when she was told a specific pair of designer Jimmy Choos shoes were not available for her to wear.

Despite having 37 different pairs to choose from, Teri didn't like any of the footwear on offer and demanded staff get her the style she wanted.

A source told Britain's Mail On Sunday newspaper: "The stylist had 37 pairs of shoes but none were right. Teri insisted on a specific pair and when the store the company uses could not provide them Teri got a runner to collect a similar pair from her home."

Meanwhile, Teri is dating her 'Desperate Housewives' co-star Eva Longoria's ex-boyfriend.

She met film director Stephen Kay through a mutual friend and the pair are said to be inseparable.

The twice-divorced actress insists 31-year-old Eva - who is currently dating US basketball star Tony Parker, 24 - has given the romance her blessing.

Teri's publicist Liza Anderson confirmed: "Eva and Tony have never been happier and Eva wishes the same happiness for Teri."

Eva and Stephen dated in 2004, when she starred in his TV film 'The Dead Will Tell'.

Stephen is best known for directing the 2000 film 'Get Carter', which starred Sylvester Stallone.
