One of the biggest rivalries in the Big 10 takes place in Happy Valley on Saturday afternoon when the Ohio State Buckeyes (7-2 SU, 7-2 ATS) take on the Penn State Nittany Lions (8-1 SU, 4-4 ATS) in a Big 10 betting affair. Ohio State is coming off of a dominating sports wagering win against lowly New Mexico State, a 45-0 blanking in which the Buckeyes cruised. Penn State, meanwhile, needed a big fourth quarter to get past Northwestern in a 34-13 CFB gambling triumph.

Ohio State didn't score in the first or fourth quarters but still put together one of the most lopsided performances of the season, outgaining the Aggies by almost 500 yards on the night. The Buckeye defense put forth an amazing effort, holding New Mexico State to 62 total yards and two first downs while forcing three turnovers in the college football betting win. The Buckeye offense was almost as effective as their defense with 559 yards on the afternoon. QB Terrelle Pryor did well going 11 of 23 for 135 yards and a touchdown with nine carries for 83 yards and a touchdown. RB Daniel Herron also helped with six carries for 66 yards and a touchdown while RB Brandon Saine carried the ball seven times for 13 yards and a score. WR Dane Sanzenbacher also helped with four catches for 72 yards and two touchdowns for Ohio State betting fans.

The Nittany Lions were down 13-10 at the end of the first half last week, but 24 straight points in the second half gave Paterno's boys the college football gambling win. QB Darryl Clark looked good by completing 22 of 31 passes for 274 yards and a touchdown while running the ball six times for 16 yards and a TD. RB Evan Royster was efficient on the ground, carrying the ball 15 times for 118 yards and a touchdown while Brandon Beachum picked up 25 yards and a TD on four attempts. WR Derek Moye was the team's leading receiver on the day with six catches for 123 yards and a touchdown. Penn State's defense will need to do better though after giving up 371 total yards to the Wildcat offense.

Sports gambling odds show Penn State as a 5.5 point favorite against the Buckeyes with a total of 39 points.
