EOG College Football Sports Betting Preview: Boise State Broncos vs Utah State Aggies
The Boise State Broncos (10-0 SU, 7-2 ATS) will look to keep their undefeated season and a chance at a BCS bowl alive on Friday night when they travel to Logan to take on the Utah State Aggies (3-7 SU, 7-2 ATS) in a WAC betting affair. Boise State is coming off of a dominant 63-25 NCAA football wagering victory against in-state rival Idaho last week while Utah State has covered four of their last five for college football betting fans.
What else can be said about Boise State QB Kellen Moore? Moore currently leads the nation in passing efficiency and was dominant again last week against the Vandals. Boise State betting fans were delighted to see Moore complete 22 of 32 passes for 299 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions on the day last Saturday. WR Austin Pettis had his fourth 100 yard game of the season and best game yet of the season against Idaho. Pettis snagged eight balls for 123 yards and four touchdowns to get Boise State the NCAA football betting win. WR Titus Young also contributed with six catches for 101 yards and a touchdown. RB Jeremy Avery was solid on the ground, carrying the ball 14 times for 110 yards and a touchdown. Boise State's defense also continues to come up big for the Broncos, as the unit forced seven Idaho turnovers in order to get the win.
Utah State used a dominant running game to give NCAA football betting fans the victory against San Jose State last Saturday. Running back Robert Turbin continued to show why he is one of the best backs you've never heard of by churning out 190 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries. Turbin has carried the ball for 1162 yards and nine touchdowns already this season and has eclipsed the 100 yard mark six times. Turbin has gotten lots of help in the backfield this year from QB Diondre Borel, who has combined to rush and pass for almost 3000 yards. Borel wasn't much help last Saturday however, only completing seven of 18 passes for 50 yards and carrying the ball 12 times for 73 yards. All told it was his least effective game yardage wise of the season.
NCAA gambling odds have Boise State as a 23 point road favorite in this game with a total of 61.5 points.
