Look for Butler to be paired with a very strong Mid Major Sleeper like St Mary's/Gonzaga/etc. NO WAY the evil good ole Boys on the committee are going to embarrass an Illinois or GT with a Butler Pairing. THEN they might just put No. Iowa on a collision course in Round 2 with Butler.

Ever since the line on this NFL game opened with the New York Jets being installed as a 3 1/2 point favorite, I have been betting the St. Louis Rams plus the points. Apparently, others see this as too many points to lay, so now the line has dropped to only 3.

Hideki Matsui's solo homer with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted the New York Yankees to a 2-1 win over the Baltimore Orioles in the opener of a three-game series between the American League East rivals. It was the third straight game the Yankees won by a 2-1 final, and they squeaked out their fourth consecutive victory thanks to good defense in the eighth inning when the Orioles had a pair of runners thrown out at home.

As Halladay was in town Tuesday night there was much conversation among the out-of-town scouts who fill the back of the press box at Tropicana Field, but it didn't have much to do with the forthcoming game between the Blue Jays and Rays. written June 27, 2009 Favorites went 33-19. Breaking this down further is where I have been finding some $$$. Of the 33 favorite wins this week, only 7 were decided by 1 run. The other 26 were decided by 2 or more! (82.5%!) and nearly all of them were paying +$$$ on the odds. I would guesstimate the avg. return on those R/L winners was probably +130, give or take. To take this one step further, I sampled for the year 3 teams who at least on Tuesday had the biggest winning run differential. Those teams were LAD, BOS, and TB.

The Yankees and Mets will kick off their second and final series in 2009 on Friday at Citi Field. The Bronx Bombers took two of three at Yankee Stadium two weeks ago, outscoring the Mets by a count of 26-14. But both teams have struggled in the wake of that series, with the Yankees winning just three times in their past eight games and the Mets going 4-5 over their past nine. The Mets, however, hold a slim 8-7 edge in the Subway Series since the start of 2007.

I would like to thank Oddsmaker, JimmyMac (The Player) and mofome (Head Moderator EOG.com) for all of their hard work and assistance in this matter...There are literally dozens of scam artists each day that try and abuse these generous bonus offers. Bookmakers look for signs of abuse in order to catch these criminals before it is too late.Although JimmyMac turns out to be innocent of bonus abuse, he did manifest several "red flags" that caused Oddsmaker to initially shut down his account. However, I believe after careful review, both Oddsmaker and EOG came to the conclusion that the player did nothing wrong that should penalize him from receiving the entire $8400 dollars he won...
The check is in the mail baby!!!!

The Chairman of the House Committee on Financial Services and other leading committee members are seeking broad support for new legislation that would stop the U.S. government from taking any steps to implement regulations that require U.S. financial institutions to police Internet gambling.
