US TV star Rosie O'Donnell has been warned to stop swearing on television.

Network bosses have told the comedienne - who is due to join daytime talk show 'The View' on September 5 - to watch her mouth after she turned the air blue while hosting her own self-titled show a few years ago.

In an entry on her internet blog, Rosie revealed: "They told me all the stuff I know but it still made me panic a little.

"I only cursed once in 6 years of live TV. I said 'All this useless s**t stuck in my head' to Lucie Arnaz I believe. Oops."

Meanwhile, the gay comic has revealed she has a crush on 'Nip/Tuck' star Julian McMahon.
O'Donnell, who has previously admitted she is attracted to Tom Cruise, revealed: "I fell in love with Julian while taping an episode for the show.

"I still love my old Tommy, but Julian is gorgeous - he's my new Tommy!"

The outspoken star recently praised Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie for securing a record-breaking sum for their baby photos.

O'Donnell congratulated the new parents for successfully pushing the price of the much sought after pictures of baby Shiloh Nouvel to an astonishing $4.1 million.
