If the stock market were a casino, investors in Las Vegas gambling stocks would be the bleary-eyed guy in the wrinkled suit watching helplessly as the dealer plucks chips from the felt.

Nine of 10 stocks on an index of publicly traded gambling companies lost value in June, including a 19 percent decline for shares in Las Vegas Sands Corp., the company that owns two of the swankiest resorts in Las Vegas.

The Los Angeles Clippers have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with point guard Baron Davis on a deal in the range of five years and $65 million.

The Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday that Davis' agent, Todd Ramasar, confirmed that his client has agreed to sign with the Clippers. No deal can be signed until July 9, when the salary cap for next season is determined.

“Girls Gone Wild” founder Joe Francis’ legal problems increased after the Wynn Las Vegas filed a $2 million lawsuit against him for unpaid gambling debts dating back to February 2007.

The Strip resort filed the suit Friday. “As far as Mr. Francis is concerned, his obligations to the Wynn hotel have been fully lived up to per prior agreements,” a spokesman for Francis said today.

The 22-year-old actress –who is rumoured to dating DJ and singer Samantha–is said to adopt a submissive role in their alleged relationship. A source told America’s Star magazine: "Lindsay and Samantha are totally playing house and loving every minute of it. And, yes, they share a bed!
