OKC Visits Toronto in Thursday NBA – The 38-29 Oklahoma City Thunder head to Canada on a three game winning streak as they face the 39-28 Toronto Raptors.

This is a tense game coming here in the last quarter of the season. Both teams have nearly identical records and both are locked in a battle for seeding in their respective divisions. Both team took steps at the trade deadline to bring in help for the stretch run.

The Raptors are coming off a win Monday night against the Dallas Mavericks 100-78 and that win snapped a two game losing streak. Those two losses came at the hands of the Miami Heat and the Atlanta Hawks. The raptors have been adapting to newcomers PJ Tucker and Serge Ibaka and the fact is that the team is playing much better defense with the two aboard. Unfortunately the raptors haven’t had their floor general in point guard Kyle Lowry and they are fighting to stay afloat until Lowry gets back.

With just 15 games left in the season, the remarkable Russell Westbrook looks poised to average a triple double. The stats are there and he has a good supporting cast but the team will go as  far as Westbrook can take them. Toronto would be a good road win late in the season for a team that is looking at coming in seeded in the bottom half of the western conference.

The two teams met early in the 12016-2017 campaign, on November 9th and the Raptors walked out of OKC with a 112-102 win behind 37 points from Demar Derozan.
