Still scratching my head how Fanduel opened Dallas as the favorite in there upcoming series v. OKC.

That didn't last long.

kane indeed gave a great call and I'm going to try to match. Nuggets win next 4. Pee Wolves aren't the Fakers. Neither are the Nuggets.

The opening odds start here
I couldn't love Pat Riley's comments any more after Baby Butler's envy and cockiness came right out It's one thing if you are being competitive and able to play, it's another when you're jealously injured.

Still a long way to go, I have too much respect for the Nuggets to count them out

Dude it's over....when you get a guy like Alexander-Walker laughing at Murray because he couldn't
get by him...it's over. Fat lady warming up.

OKC had a nice little run last night mid 3Q. But I wasn't overly impressed. Luka was on one leg and they couldn't miss.

I'm still troubled with their lack of length, Gabbard was killing them on the offensive and defensive boards. Lively was not
himself.

I think it will go seven. Don't count Dallas out.

I like OKC, Dallas is too dependent on their two guys, if Irving or Luka have an off game, they're in trouble, Luka is clearly bothered by his knee, OKC can withstand an off game from SGA since they're deeper, not saying the Thunder roll past them, but I fully expect them to win the series, for my two futures I'd love to see a Minn/OKC WCF's

I love everything about the Wolves, their defense shut down the Nuggets without Gobert, Edwards is a beast, reminds me of a young D Wade only more explosive, I think they can absolutely cut down the nets, even against Boston

IMO Edwards is the closest thing to Jordan since Kobe. Just a little huskier but the same raw talent.

To think basketball was his second sport in HS after football.

His bubble boy popping was inevitable. I think he is spent. Maybe one more "throwback" game. It was never going to work. He was attempting to pull a Lebron James in his prime.

Edwards, a huskier Jordan?

Interesting.

Edwards' big frame is a big plus.

He dishes out more punishment than he takes.

In that respect, he's LeBron-like.

So far, so good in terms of durability.

Books think Knicks are too banged up?

Before game 2, Pacers Series Price +2.5 games was - 144. After losing last night it's now at - 178.

And Ceasers only +145 for Pacers +1.5 (was +120 before series started)

Books are right. Injuries caught up with the Heat and injuries will catch up to the Knicks. Brunson has my total respect but eventually gravity will hit. He saved them again.

If I had an MVP vote

1) Jokic
2) SGA
3) Luka
4) Giannis
5) Tatum
6) Brunson
I had the exact top 6, only difference was Brunson finished 5th and Tatum 6th, which I disagree with, but wouldn't put up a fight over

The way I look at it, without Brunson or Giannis...their respective teams turn into the Washington Generals as seen. Other guys have dudes around them... unfortunately that's not how the voting works.

Not minimizing Jokic, I scratch my head how some of his shots go in. However, refs allow him to play his international style in the key, otherwise he's Jack Sikma.

I watched Sikma play a lot back in the late 70's and early 80's. His first 4 years he played in all 82 Sonic games, but didn't start a single game. His 5th season he started all 82. You have to be a real NBA junkie to know where he went to college.

I know were most went to school around that period but had no idea he went to Illinois Wesleyan, hell of a find.

I am always amazed how these foreign guys make shots off balance, one leg, falling back until I read this article about this Russian basketball coach who teaches elite players how to efficiently shoot off balance. There's a big demand for him, even Steve Nash utilized his services...

Pissers win and Nuggets responding like I thought. If they take both in Minnesoda, might ride the mo to the Western Conference finals.

Pissers win
They won a game they needed to win, but it took a great shot to do it, they miss that three and the Knicks could have won in regulation, and again they didn't defend the perimeter, they allowed the Knicks to shoot 14/27 from deep, in three games the Knicks have shot a staggering 49% from deep, on one hand I think that kind of shooting isn't sustainable, but the Pacers lack of defense makes it a bit more likely it is, game 4 tells us if it's a series or not

I'm really pissed at myself, I blew it, I got so caught up in the Wolves hype I missed an opportunity to play an angle I love, one that has done very well for me through the years, I like taking a good team the game after they were embarrassed, and it didn't get much more embarrassing than how they played at home in game 2, the sharps were all over them last night and I should have been as well
